Homework is due by in class Wednesday each week. (Late homework handed in by 5:00 P.M. Friday will receive 50% credit.) Collaboration on homework and use of outside sources for problem solving is allowed. Be sure to cite any outside sources such as web pages or printed solution manuals used in completion of homework: use of outside sources without citation will result in a zero on the relevant homework (first occurrence). A second occurrence will result in a failing grade in the course. You are solely responsible for what you hand in!
If you must miss an exam, make arrangements to take the exam before the scheduled date. If you miss an exam without making prior arrangements, you must provide written documentation of an emergency (such as a doctor's excuse for illness.) You should notify Dr. Kinney or the physics office (645-2017) by the end of the day the exam is scheduled.
An incomplete can only be requested by students who are at passing level before the final exam and are unable to finish the course for legitimate reasons. No request will be accepted after the final exam.
