(11/15) The third exam is on Tuesday, 11/16, in class. Chapters covered are 7, 8 and 9. The exam is closed book, you can use a calculator, pen and one sheet with formulae only (no worked problems).

(10/16) The second exam is on Tuesday, 10/19, in class. Chapters covered are 4, 5 and 6. The exam is closed book, you can use a calculator, pen and one sheet with formulae only (no worked problems).

(9/29) Results of the first exam are posted here. The average was 71/100, which is very good!

(9/19) The first exam is on Tuesday, 9/21, in class. The exam is closed book, you can use a calculator, pen and one sheet with formulae only (no worked problems). The best way to prepare is to redo your HW problems and do additional problems from the book.

(9/14) The final exam has been scheduled to 16th December (12/16), 19:00 PM - 22:00 PM, NSC 215. This is NOT the usual classroom, but a lecture hall in the same building!

(9/13) All HWs for the rest of the semester are online!

(9/7) The second HW is posted. The first HW deadline has been postponed to next Monday, 9/13. Note that all other deadlines are unchanged!

(8/30) The first HW is posted. It is not from the textbook. Note that vectors are denoted by boldface letters instead of the little arrows and hats that are used in the book. This is an alternative notation, means the same.

(8/30) The first midterm is scheduled for 21 September, the second midterm for 19 October, the third midterm for 16 November, all in class, 205 NSC. The final exam will be scheduled by UB.
